My Story — Oliver Able
Hey, my name is Oliver Able, and I'm a junior in high school, a Christian clothing brand owner, content creator, and photographer. But my story didn't start here.
I grew up on Prince Edward Island, Canada, with my 10 siblings in a big church house. In 2022, Hurricane Fiona hit our area hard, and in the middle of the night, we lost our house. Suddenly, we didn't have a home. In 2024, my family moved to Panama City Beach, Florida, where a whole new chapter of my life began.
While living in Florida, my mom suggested that I start a clothing brand to give me something to focus on. That's how my journey began.
But building a brand wasn't easy. I struggled with being afraid to post online, worrying about what other people would think, and not having the relationship with God that I have today. I went through some of the hardest years of my life mentally, and there were times when I had very little motivation. But even through all of that, I never gave up.
Then, in May 2026, things started to change.
I grew so much closer to God, started reading my Bible more, and began understanding how important my relationship with Him really was. I stopped being so afraid of what people thought and started putting myself out there. I began posting Instagram ads, skits, and videos, and eventually, I started becoming a content creator.
I realized that God had blessed me with a creative mind and the ability to speak to people, and I wanted to use those gifts for Him. Instead of just selling clothes, I started talking about my brand, sharing my testimony, and showing people what my relationship with God means to me.
As I grew closer to God, my creativity grew, too. I began coming up with new ideas for videos and clothing designs, and I started seeing opportunities come my way that I never imagined. Faith That Fits has had opportunities to collaborate with other brands and artists, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far it's come.
One of my biggest passions is music. I love artists like Josiah Queen, Forrest Frank, and Strings & Heart. Their music has made a huge impact on my life through both the highs and the lows. I've even had the opportunity to make clothing for artists, and one of my dreams is to collaborate with the artists whose music has helped shape my journey.
Outside of my clothing brand, I also love photography and videography. I shoot sports photography for my school's football, swimming, and soccer teams. I also love taking my camera on family trips and vlogging the experiences we share. Honestly, I just love having a camera in my hands and capturing moments, telling stories, and creating something meaningful.
Looking back, I can see how much has changed. From losing our home in Canada to moving to Florida, from being afraid to post online to confidently sharing my faith, and from starting a small clothing brand to getting opportunities I never expected, my journey has taught me so much.
I'm still a teenager, still learning, and still growing. But one thing I've learned is that God can work through you even when you don't have everything figured out. You don't have to be perfect to start, and you don't have to have it all together to follow what God has put on your heart.
Today, I'm closer to God than I've ever been, and I want to keep using the gifts He's given me to spread the Gospel, encourage others, and create things that make a difference.
I'm beyond blessed to be where I am today, and I know this is only the beginning. Everything I've been through has become part of my story, and I believe God is still writing it.
